It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection along with an IP67 certification for dust and water resistance. The Galaxy A53 5G is powered by the Exynos 1280 chipset from the brand, which is built on the 5nm design. A smaller chipset size, indicates higher efficiency. It does come with extendable RAM up to 16GB and a microSD slot for up to 1TB.
It has a 64MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP macro camera and another 5MP depth camera. There is also a 32MP front camera encased in a punch-hole cutout. The phone has a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It comes out of the box with Android 12-based One UI 4.1.
